Felted Compost Bin Lids for a Compost Bin.

Our Compost Bin Lids are designed to allow control over the amount of rain entering the bin. When the material inside starts to compost, heat is produced which kills weed seeds and diseased material. Without a lid rain entering will cool down the mix, washout nutrients and make this process less efficient and makes the contents wet and soggy. Full Description / Price List (Click Here)

Options : Hinges can be fitted to our lids if required. Access to the back of the Compost Bin is needed in order to fit them. Also, a 10cm (4″) gap behind the Compost Bin is needed for the lid to open up. Unfelted lids are also an option (see photos)
